Ingredients:
Kadale Bele (Bengal Gram) -- 100 gms
Green Chillies -- 2-3
Coriender Leaves (finely chopped) -- 1/2 cup
Onion -- 1
Curry Leaves (Chopped) -- 10 leaves.
Sabbasge Soppu (Chopped) -- 1/2 cup
Salt -- As per your taste.
Oil for frying -- As required
Method:
1. Soak Kadale Bele (Bengal gram) for 1 hour.
2. Grind soaked kadale bele and green chillies coarsely.
3. Add chopped onion, coriander leaves, curry leaves, subbasge
soppu to coarsely ground kadale bele and green chillies mixture.
4. Add salt and mix well.
5. Heat oil in a heavy bottom kadai.
6. Take little mixture and make small balls. Press it to make it flat.
7. Once the oil is hot deep fry till vadas turn golden brown.
Hot Ambode is ready to eat.
Note: You can add grated coconut instead of onion.
